A History of Travel in New Mexico is a collaboration among the New Mexico Department of Transportation, and two divisions of the Department of Cultural Affairs- the New Mexico History Museum and the Museum Resources Division whose Van of Enchantment has traveled New Mexico roads for more than a decade.
The next stop in A History of Travel in New Mexico will explore the historic highways of New Mexico and the heyday of Route 66.
